Fully restored and custom built to an almost non-exhaustive specification in 2015, this car has won numerous awards at a number of shows, and remains in ‘show-car’ condition.

This beautifully finished MG B was subject to extensive restorative works and tasteful modification in-house in 2013/14. The excellent condition of this car throughout presented itself as the perfect candidate for the popular ‘chrome bumper’ conversion, professionally finished. The bespoke, full leather upholstery was hand-made by our trimmer to the excellent taste of the purchaser, and includes a one-off design to both door cards and seats. The dashboard is adorned with walnut, and a complimentary mohair hood selected to suit. The body and engine bay were fully refinished, the underside ‘Waxoyl’ treated, and all components replaced or refurbished as required. Other tasteful modifications included the chrome wire wheels, low profile tyres and full stainless steel exhaust with tubular manifold. Mechanically, the original ‘Gold Seal’ engine was fully rebuilt by our engineer, and uprated to fast road specification. The camshaft was uprated and the cylinder head tuned, along with full unleaded conversion. The car has covered ‘running-in’ miles only, and represents a good opportunity to purchase a very ‘well sorted’ example.

Our TR6 was restored some 12 years ago for a long-standing customer. The car was subjected to a full, ‘body-off’ restoration and was restored on a ‘no expense spared’ basis. The car benefits from a fully galvanized chassis, ensuring longevity and strength, and our attention to detail on panel fit and finish ensure that the door gaps remain as true as the day the car left us. The previous owner undertook fastidious maintenance during the time the car was in his custody, keeping the car true to its original design and purpose but making subtle enhancements to the specification. A full history file is present with the car, detailing every penny that has been spent maintaining the car, totaling many thousands of pounds.

The TR6 remains in superb condition as a testament to the high level of restoration and maintenance, and since purchasing the vehicle we have used it as our flagship, to demonstrate what, in our opinion, the ultimate Triumph TR6 is. The definitive British sports car of the era, with the enhancements aimed at improving the performance, handling and reliability.

Presently, the car is undergoing a refit, including new hood, roll bar with additional centre mounted brake lamp, new dashboard, powdercoated standard steel wheels with new centres, stainless steel wheel nuts and 5 x Continental Sport tyres. Currently undergoing full detailing and 100 point service.

1971 Triumph TR6

We have pleasure in offering for sale one of our TR’s that made us famous. It is a TR6 that we first encountered some five years ago, having since had a full nut and bolt detailed restoration by ourselves. Obviously this car has the panel fit our clients would expect. The car has really been cherished and maintained to an impressive standard. I have to admit, the car is every bit as good as the day it left us, if not indeed better.
